State-wide Learning Supports

Learning Supports is an integrated systems approach embeded in the Iowa Core Curriculum to improve the learning, development and success of all children and youth in Iowa.

Goal:  To develop and provide assistance to AEAs and schools to develop and enhance a continuum of integrated learning supports to remove barriers to learning in order to promote:

     •Learning

     •Health Development

     •Success in school and life

Leadership...building and sustaining capacity to implement Learning Supports

Community...working collaboratively with supportive agencies

Data...utilizing a process from the data to improve teaching and learning
